Software Engineer (Data Platform)
About the Role
You will build core data systems and the API, collaborate with product engineers to ship new features, and improve the development lifecycle to increase team productivity. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to product, growth, recruiting, and fundraising work. You should move quickly and accurately under uncertainty, take ownership of your work, and communicate clearly with colleagues.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience engineering data systems (Spark, Beam, Flink)
- Strong experience in relational database schema design
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and DevOps
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong sense of ownership and craftsmanship
- Ability to move quickly and accurately under conditions of uncertainty without supervision
