Software Engineer
About the Role
You will deliver features for flagship products that power Web3 gaming platforms. You will build front-end UX components with TypeScript, NextJs and React, and contribute to back-end services and system design. You will collaborate with stakeholders, participate in agile planning, estimate and prioritise features, iterate from user feedback, and own the reliability, performance, monitoring and maintenance of the services you build.
Requirements
- 3+ years full-stack software engineering experience in a commercial product-driven environment
- Strong front-end development skills with TypeScript and React
- Practical experience writing and maintaining unit, integration and end-to-end tests
- Excellent A/B testing experience
- Back-end development experience with TypeScript and system design
- Proven track record of creating and maintaining observability within applications
- Comfortable working across the stack and adapting to new tools
- Comfortable using AI tools to assist development
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Enthusiasm for gaming and Web3 technologies
Responsibilities
- Deliver features for flagship products in Immutable Play and Immutable Passport
- Develop front-end UX components using TypeScript, NextJs and React
- Implement back-end services and design systems that meet user and business requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive product decisions
- Use AI tools such as Cursor to assist development
- Participate in agile planning, estimation and prioritisation
- Experiment and iterate on products based on user feedback
- Own reliability and performance through monitoring, automation and maintenance
- Continuously refine and improve engineering practices
