Software Engineer - Infrastructure & SRE
About the Role
You will take ownership of core infrastructure components and drive their design, implementation, and operation. You will design and deploy scalable infrastructure on cloud platforms and bare metal, build automated CI/CD pipelines, and implement Infrastructure as Code. You will create monitoring and observability solutions, run on-call rotations to respond to production incidents, and apply SRE principles to improve reliability and availability. You will build internal tools, integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle, collaborate closely with software engineers, and continuously learn new technologies such as Rust.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps SRE Infrastructure or Backend Engineering
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform or Ansible
- Experience with containerization Docker and orchestration Kubernetes
- Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana or DataDog
- Scripting skills in Bash or Python
- Foundational knowledge of blockchain technology concepts
- Willingness to learn new languages such as Rust
- Experience with DNS firewalls and networking principles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a distributed remote team
