Software Engineer, Mid-level (L2), API
About the Role
You will design and develop web applications and software solutions that meet business needs. You will execute full software development lifecycles, write clean reusable and maintainable code, and push code into production. You will conduct and participate in code reviews, write concise documentation, and replicate and resolve defects. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers and designers, stay up-to-date with development trends, and mentor interns and junior engineers. You will also support ad hoc tasks as required.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of software development experience in Agile teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field or relevant professional certifications
- Proficiency in programming languages and web development
- Experience with front-end and back-end development and simple deployment tools
- Experience delivering in Agile SCRUM
- Ability to write high-quality well-tested code and maintain code quality
- Clear communication and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to estimate time and complexity of assigned work
- Passion for problem solving and strong user empathy
- Nice to have knowledge of Ruby Rails JavaScript PostgreSQL and cloud services
- Keen interest in decentralized technologies and cryptocurrencies
