Software Engineer US Exchange Tooling
About the Role
You will build and maintain the internal systems that power US exchange operations, including payment reconciliation, transaction processing, operational dashboards, and compliance tooling. You will deliver production features frequently, work across frontend and backend stacks, integrate with external payment providers and APIs, and design systems for scale and auditability. You will collaborate closely with operations and compliance stakeholders, participate in architecture and code reviews, and help shape best practices.
Requirements
- 3-7 years of professional software development experience
- Strong full-stack web development skills with TypeScript
- Strong backend experience with Go
- Solid experience with React and Node.js
- Next.js experience is a plus
- Experience building data-heavy applications or internal tools
- Ability to work with external APIs and integrate third-party services
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Bias for action and iterative shipping
- Builder mindset focused on operational tooling
- Experience with MongoDB (plus)
- Background in fintech, payments, reconciliation systems, or regulated environments (plus)
- Familiarity with customer service or operations tooling (plus)
- Understanding of financial data modeling and audit requirements (plus)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent (plus)
