Solutions Engineering Manager
About the Role
You will lead and grow a Solutions Engineering team responsible for pre-sales integrations, technical support, and developer enablement. You will define support and onboarding workflows, build automation and tooling, debug complex technical issues, support high-value customers directly, set success metrics, and coach team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years in technical roles such as engineering, solutions engineering, or technical support
- 2+ years leading or mentoring technical teams
- Strong coding ability, TypeScript and Rust preferred
- Proven experience improving developer workflows, processes, and automation
- Excellent communication skills with empathy for engineers and customers
- Deep understanding of crypto ecosystems, Solana preferred
- High agency and comfort operating in a fast-moving early-stage environment
- Nice to have: open-source contributions to Solana tooling
- Nice to have: exposure to pre-sales engineering, enterprise integrations, or technical account management
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a Solutions Engineering team
- Establish best practices for technical support, onboarding, and developer enablement
- Define and track metrics for support efficiency, integration speed, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Partner with Product and Engineering to surface insights and shape roadmap priorities
- Architect automation and tooling such as SDK improvements, dashboards, and AI-powered support flows
- Support complex or high-urgency integrations for high-value customers
- Debug code and resolve complex technical issues
- Coach and mentor team members on technical depth, communication, and ownership
- Champion reliability, simplicity, and performance in shipped solutions
