Staff iOS Engineer
About the Role
You will own iOS development from architecture through release. You will design and implement features using Swift and SwiftUI, shape and evolve the mobile codebase and drive decisions about mobile architecture and cross-platform components. You will integrate with REST and GraphQL APIs, implement real-time updates, and optimize app performance. You will adopt AI-assisted development tools to accelerate productivity and improve code quality. You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering peers to deliver polished, user-friendly mobile experiences and provide technical leadership for the mobile platform.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Swift and SwiftUI
- Strong understanding of MVVM architecture and modern iOS frameworks
- Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform
- Experience developing API-driven apps using REST and GraphQL
- Hands-on experience with real-time data updates and complex UI interactions
- Strong systems engineering skills and a generalist mindset
- Proven experience adopting AI development tools
- Prior experience in fintech or crypto products preferred
- High ownership mentality and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Design and develop the iOS app using SwiftUI and MVVM
- Own features from conception through deployment
- Drive mobile architecture and codebase evolution
- Integrate with GraphQL and REST APIs and implement real-time data updates
- Adopt and advocate for AI-assisted development tools
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to build user-friendly mobile experiences
- Contribute to cross-platform shared code where applicable
- Optimize app performance and complex UI interactions
- Provide technical leadership and innovative solutions for the mobile platform
