Strategic Partnerships Sales Development Representative
About the Role
You will own the early stages of the sales process by prospecting, engaging, and qualifying leads. You will reach out via multiple channels, educate customers on blockchain nodes and infrastructure troubleshooting, manage and update the CRM, and act as an initial point of contact for customers. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and support to relay customer feedback, help refine processes, support retention, renewals and upsells, and respond quickly to customer needs.
Requirements
- Knowledge and passion for the crypto and blockchain industry
- 2-4 years experience with inbound, outbound, and client-facing sales of SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS
- Skilled in prospecting techniques
- Technical or educational background in engineering, computer science, or MIS
- Ability to operate independently and proactively to source and progress new business
- Proficiency using CRM software, forecasting, and opportunity management
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to understand customer pain points and correlate business value to technical solutions
- Experience managing numerous requests and time demands concurrently
- Preferred: proven self-starter with success in fast-paced environments
- Preferred: skilled at presenting technical solutions to prospects and customers
- Preferred: demonstrated track record working with cross-functional stakeholders
- Preferred: advanced CRM experience including configuration, dashboard and report development, and programming
- Preferred: experience working with startups
- Preferred: experience working in Web3
- Preferred: founding a company or building side projects is a plus
Responsibilities
- Collaborate across internal business and technology teams to drive customer outcomes
- Reach out to new leads via various communication channels
- Educate cryptocurrency companies about blockchain nodes and troubleshoot infrastructure issues
- Contact, prospect, and qualify potential customers and partners through inbound and outbound efforts
- Drive client retention, renewals, and upsells
- Refine and establish processes to support evolving business needs
- Own, manage, and report using a CRM and ensure metrics are up to date
- Serve as an initial point of contact and ongoing relationship manager for customers
- Provide customer feedback to product and engineering teams
- Work with support and communicate with customers both pre and post-sales
- Respond and communicate quickly with customers
