Support People Partner

About the Role

You will support the Support department by coordinating HR strategy and aligning team OKRs. You will improve organizational effectiveness, advise on structure and retention, and drive performance management through regular feedback, 1:1s, OKRs, evaluations and follow-ups on performance improvement plans. You will audit attendance and sick time records, manage benefit and health review changes, update HR systems, handle accommodations with medical professionals, and prepare employee letters. You will manage recruitment, onboarding, resignations, terminations and exit interviews, audit overtime for compliance with local labour law, and partner with onboarding to pulse-check new hires. You will design and run employee recognition and retention initiatives and build strong relationships across the team to foster engagement and accountability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Labor Law, or related field
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, Recruitment and Employee Experience
  • Experience in various HR functional areas, especially organizational development and discipline
  • Contemporary knowledge of HR Business Partner practices (Wave way)
  • Curiosity and proactive problem solving

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate HR strategy with the Support team and align with team OKRs
  • Identify and implement organizational structure and effectiveness improvements
  • Implement and support performance management processes including feedback, 1:1s, OKRs, evaluations and PIPs
  • Audit employee sick time and attendance records
  • Manage benefit and health review (BHR) changes and update HR systems
  • Manage employee work accommodation requests and liaise with medical professionals
  • Prepare and deliver employee explanation letters
  • Track HR metrics and ensure adherence to policies and compliance
  • Address recurring absenteeism and implement solutions to improve attendance
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, resignations, terminations and exit interviews
  • Audit overtime submissions for compliance with company policy and local labour laws
  • Partner with onboarding to pulse-check new employees and improve their experience
  • Implement employee recognition, reward programs and retention strategies
