Systematic Trader
About the Role
You will design, implement, and refine automated trading algorithms for cryptocurrency markets. You will analyse market microstructure and large datasets to generate trading signals, validate them through backtesting, and improve strategy performance. You will design and optimise computing architectures, write production-quality code, and collaborate with colleagues to deploy and maintain trading systems while staying current with emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or related technical field
- Logical reasoning and analytical skills
- Experience writing code to process and analyse large datasets
- Proficiency in software development and engineering principles
- Prior experience in electronic trading, ideally in FX or futures
- Strong software development skills in lower-level languages and Python
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency markets and blockchain technology
