Talent and People Specialist - LATAM
About the Role
You will own recruiting and people operations for LATAM. You will run full-cycle recruiting for high-impact technical and non-technical roles, partner with hiring managers to define hiring strategy, and build proactive candidate pipelines. You will manage LATAM payroll and benefits, run onboarding and orientation, organize in-person events, and support employee relations while ensuring compliance with local labor laws. You will use recruiting data and market insights to improve processes and deliver a high-quality candidate experience from first outreach through offer.
Requirements
- 5+ years full-cycle recruiting experience in Brazil
- Prior experience in a generalist recruiting and people operations role
- Experience with startups or scaleups
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- English proficiency written and verbal
- High ownership mindset and comfort operating independently
- Familiarity with Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, Notion, and Deel is a plus
- Experience working with globally distributed teams is a plus

- Deliver a high-quality candidate experience from first outreach through offer
- Use funnel data and market insights to influence recruiting decisions
- Manage LATAM payroll and benefits ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Own onboarding and orient new employees to payroll, benefits, and org-wide tools
- Organize in-person team get-togethers, onboarding, and other events
- Support employee relations and navigate local labor laws and employment practices
