Technical Project Manager, Hardware Compliance
About the Role
You will own hardware compliance activities for portable biometric devices. You ensure product compliance from development through certification, build and maintain test setups and documentation, coordinate homologation projects across regions, and liaise with labs, regulators and suppliers to resolve compliance gaps and maintain certification status.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years experience in dynamic environments
- Experience in homologation of IoT products and/or Li-ion batteries
- Good understanding of electrical and mechanical contexts
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication with suppliers, regulators and technical teams
- Cross-cultural competency and experience working across countries
- High attention to detail and ethical approach to certification
- Ability and willingness to travel globally
Responsibilities
- Secure product compliance during the development phase
- Create assessments for new designs and identify compliance gaps
- Build and maintain test setups to demonstrate conformity with standards
- Manage parallel homologation and certification projects globally
- Engage and coordinate with consultants, test labs and external experts
- Create and maintain compliance documentation, product manuals and markings
- Monitor changes in regulations and standards and update compliance plans
- Travel as needed to accelerate certification and testing activities
