Technical Writer
About the Role
You will write and shape a wide range of content, including partnership announcements, ecosystem updates, research articles, and thought leadership pieces. You will research emerging blockchain trends, translate complex technical concepts into clear prose, produce engaging data-driven and visual content, and manage multiple writing projects and deadlines.
Requirements
- Journalistic fluency in English
- 5-10 years of experience as a professional writer, ideally 1-2 years in the crypto industry
- Experience writing about cryptocurrency or blockchain strongly desired; other technical writing experience and genuine interest in crypto considered
- Strong portfolio of published work demonstrating technical depth and style breadth
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and accurately for diverse audiences
- Deep understanding of web3 fundamentals including blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, smart contracts, and decentralized applications
- Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail with impeccable grammar
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects across timelines
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
- Experience at a professional publication (nice-to-have)
- Experience with infographics visual storytelling or data-driven content (nice-to-have)
- Academic or scholarly writing experience (nice-to-have)
