UI/UX Designer Intern

About the Role

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in UI/UX design, computer science, human computer interaction or related field
• Portfolio demonstrating design process and solutions
• Relevant internship experience in UI/UX design is a plus
• Basic understanding of design principles including typography, composition and color theory
• Knowledge of UX research methods, usability testing and prototyping
• Familiarity with design systems and Figma
• Ability to articulate design decisions and analyze qualitative and quantitative usability data
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently after initial period
• Problem-solving skills and user empathy
• Familiarity with front-end languages HTML, CSS and Javascript is a plus
• Familiarity with Tailwind, Bootstrap or React is a plus
• Interest in blockchain, cryptocurrency, NFT and web3 topics

Responsibilities

• Design user-centered UI and UX solutions
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and sitemaps
• Execute visual design from concept to hand-off
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers and UX researchers
• Participate in user tests and research interviews
• Maintain and apply the design system
• Support analytics and experimentation to inform design decisions
• Monitor user reactions and measure post-launch metrics
• Document design guidelines, standards and templates
• Support ad hoc tasks as required
