VP of Engineering
About the Role
You will lead and scale engineering teams across backend, frontend, data, and infrastructure. You will hire, coach, and retain senior engineers and engineering managers, set technical direction, and own the technical roadmap and architecture. You will ensure systems are secure, reliable, and built to scale, translate complex problems into repeatable engineering solutions, and balance velocity with long-term maintainability. You will partner closely with product and business stakeholders to define priorities, communicate technical tradeoffs, and remove internal bottlenecks through automation and improved processes.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of software engineering experience
- At least 5 years in a multi unit leadership role such as Director or VP
- Proven experience leading and scaling engineering teams at high growth startups
- Experience shipping complex products and building APIs and platforms
- Knowledge of modern data architectures and infrastructure for data heavy SaaS products
- Experience operating in remote and asynchronous cultures
