Weekend OTC Trader
About the Role
You will cover the desk on weekends and manage the OTC portfolio by providing quotes, executing trades, and operating automated trading systems. You will identify trading opportunities using research, implement hedging strategies, and manually reduce risk when necessary. You will communicate with institutional counterparties, present with composure to senior clients, stay current on market drivers and settlement processes, coordinate cross-functionally with a global team, and mentor junior traders.
Requirements
- 1+ years experience as an OTC trader in the cryptocurrency space
- Proven ability to convert institutional prospects into trading clients
- Deep crypto market knowledge
- Experience providing quotes and executing OTC trades
- Experience operating automated trading systems
- Strong risk management skills
- Knowledge of cryptocurrency settlement processes
- Effective communication with institutional counterparties
Responsibilities
