Business Development Manager

About the Role

You will drive revenue by building a qualified pipeline, closing enterprise deals, and expanding product adoption. You will cultivate relationships across channels, present solutions at industry events, travel up to 50% to meet clients, and collaborate across departments to support enterprise product expansion.

Requirements

  • Financial acumen including understanding of cash flows, budgets, and revenue models
  • Intellectually curious and driven to challenge the status quo
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach to securing revenue and improving internal efficiencies
  • CFA, CAIA, MBA or other advanced degree (preferred)
  • Operating experience within asset management, investment banking, fund administration, or fintech (preferred)
  • Proven experience in digital assets, financial services, and/or SaaS with a strong track record of closing deals (preferred)
  • Enterprise AE, GTM, and product experience in capital markets or treasury fintech (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Produce revenue and exceed sales targets
  • Build a verifiable pipeline of qualified leads and close deals
  • Build brand recognition and foster relationships within enterprise channels
  • Travel up to 50% to meet clients and attend industry events
  • Present and promote Layer2 product solutions through presentations, networking, and thought leadership
  • Collaborate across departments to support enterprise product expansion
